That’s right, Everdale farmers come to you! You don’t have to wait till the frost is off the pumpkin. We can bring the farm right into your classroom! And yes, we might even bring along a chicken or two for company.
TheFarmers in the Schools is an animated program, designed to enlist the curiosity of students while investigating and learning about the importance of local food, soils, plants, animals and Farms!
The program consists of k-8 grade specific workshops that are led in the classroom by Everdale farmers. Throughout the workshops students explore the role of a healthy farm ecosystem and their relationship to it.
